Obedience Training Packages

We focus on these THREE main areas for training below

Training Packages:

Obedience Training

During a meet & greet we compare the three structured packages for obedience training that best fits your needs. We offer obedience from basic/beginning to intermediate and finally advanced.

Service Dog Training

To train your current puppy or adolescent canine to become your service dog. Service Dogs are animals worth $35,000-$85,000 that work for their handlers. They are trained to perform specific tasks that assist their disabled handler/people. With this program you will benefit from this life lasting training method to train your dog and any future dogs you obtain. It is literally a life long investment you don't want to miss out on for an affordable price!

Desensitization

After a meet & greet, a team member will evaluate and disclose whether your dog has fear based, true aggression, low self esteem or just needs to be taught how to communicate with other dogs. Scroll down for price and brief description of what your trainer will work on with your dog in this program.

“I don’t know what service dog training I may need.”
Below are the different types of service dog categories that we specialize in and a description of each service dog subcategory with what the dogs can potentially do for their handler.
Medical Alert Service Dog

Medical Alert Dog

 Diabetic Alert

Occasionally these dogs have alerted naturally towards their handler. These dogs will be able to sniff out the highs and lows of insulin. They will be taught the difference and will be tasked to acquire medication, grab measuring devices as well as alert when their handler needs to sit down.

Migraine Alert/Pain Alert

Most of the time, these dogs have naturally alerted to this prior and your trainer will reinforce the behavior. These dogs will be capable to alert their handler in advance to an oncoming episode. These dogs can be trained to assist their handlers when they are in pain and bring medication.

Seizure Alert Dog

There is a small percentile of canines that can naturally alert to seizures. There are a variety of different types of seizures so it is very important to give your trainer as much information as possible. The reason behind this is because there is very minuscule research on the reasoning behind the successful nature that these dogs have. There’s techniques that we have perfected to teach canines how to respond to their handlers when an oncoming seizure may occur, is occurring and has completed. They may be tasked to protect their handler from further endangerment whether it’s uncontrollable self infliction or environmental. They may be task trained to bring proper medication to their handler prior to the aura taking into affect in other words before they become unresponsive. Depending on the type of seizure or combination of seizures your canine will be trained to assist your specific needs.

Psychiatric Service Dog

PTSD Alert Dog

A specialized canine that will assist in giving their handler reassurance to get back into society. Some of the tasks that they can do are circling around their handler to provide a ring of space that prevents others from getting too close, redirecting their handler to the nearest exit, sit behind their handler & “watch their six”, alert their handler that someone is approaching behind them or in the far distance infront of them.

Psychiatric Alert

These dogs are trained to provide reintegration into society, reduce depression, help cope with anxiety, remind handler to take medications, retrieve medications, reduce the frequency and severity of flashbacks, anchor handler to the present, and reduce suicidal ideation.

The main difference between these two is that one is focused on the severity of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the other  is a combination of different psychiatric diagnosis’s. They both fall under our Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) umbrella.

Mobility Assistance

Mobility Support Dogs

Dogs that are trained to support people with mobility and ambulatory needs. They can be trained to pull forward, counterbalance, brace support, open doors with adaptive equipment, press handicapped buttons to open automated doors, turn lights On/Off, and retrieve items.

Autism Assistance Dog

K9s 4 ASD

These canines are trained to provide an emotional anchor for children, adolescents & adults with autism and a sense of security to family members. The autism community is widely accepting of service dogs, as results show psychological benefits for the entire family. Service dogs will learn basic obedience and advanced tasks that are customizable, such as

  • Deep Pressure Therapy

  • Sensory Assistance

  • Finding Help

  • Redirecting Repetitive Behaviors

  • Tactile Stimulation
